NEW YORK -- An Ivy League-educated woman who headed New York Mets ticket sales until her firing last month has sued the club, saying she was fired because she was pregnant and single. The lawsuit by Leigh Castergine was filed in Brooklyn federal court. It seeks unspecified damages and asks that the Mets be stopped from future discrimination. In the lawsuit, Castergine lawyers described how the one-time $6-an-hour ticket agent for the Philadelphia 76ers advanced in the Mets organization after joining in December 2010. They say that all changed in August 2013, when she learned she was pregnant. The lawsuit alleged that Mets Chief Operating Officer Jeffrey Wilpon humiliated her after becoming fixated on the idea she was pregnant and unmarried. The Mets said a statement on the lawsuit would be issued later Wednesday. Adidas NMD R1 Triple Black .
